Powdercoating a frame

Anyone done this? Anything I should know about powdercoating a stock frame?? Will the powdercoat be thick enough to tighten the tolerances on some joints or fittings of parts? I'm thinking things like bolt holes, shock mounts, a-arm mounts, or...? Anything else I should keep in mind doing this? Thanks

Thanks Jim. Ya I am going to drive out to Bako tomorrow to get it to MB on Monday. I talked to them for a while yesterday evening and as everything I heard about them, they seem to know what they are doing and really good. He said they will tape off all the threaded holes to take care of this, and that they have powdercoated several frames without issue... I was just wondering if there is anything maybe they assumed that I should look out for. I'll post up official progress later probably after I get back from dropping it off...

Ryan just a couple little things, make sure to place a piece of tape at your ground surfaces, ie: lights, battery, ect., be very sure all your welding and fit-up is done. Sound like you'll be ready for the Pismo G.P.
