Exclamation More on recall 450/660

I just got my 07 660 last Saturday. I asked the dealer to fix a rail on my new Triton trailer and do a service. It had 17 hrs on it and was due for service #1.
They obliged and when I went to pick it up and was waiting at the desk I noticed a piece of paper on the table. With nothing else to do, while waiting, I decided to check it out..... something about 450's and 660's. Yamaha has suspended sales of in stock machines untill modifications can be made. The service guy said they had no parts in stock and were not sure what might be invloved. The piece of paper dated March 31st said that most likely the rear sway bar would be removed and spacers added for the back wheels. The dealer said they would be in contact once they recieved more info.
Being a newbie..... obviously you need to use some common sense but how easy / hard is it to roll one of these? Do most of you add spacers front and back to widen the stance? Also is there a good exhaust replacement that will quiet down the machine and not inhibit performance? I know some are advertised to cut noise decibels by up to 50%.... is this true?
Thanks

I've been reading about the recall in different forums. I'm wondering myself which would be better, with or without the sway bar. I'm not too thrill about the 2" spacers since it will cause damage to the bearings and doubt they'll warranty them.

I run mine without the sway bar on stock suspension. But i'm runnin Fox shocks with stiffer coils. I think it drives great, I run desert mostly. It actually saved me once i think. Rear end started swapping in the whoops and instead of rolling it shoved the rear wheel up far enough to break my rear fender. Never would have happened with a rear sway bar. IMO

This wheel spacer thing kinda cracks me up.... the very first mod I did to mine was to put reverse offset wheels in the rear, way back in early '04.
I must be a genius... or maybe I'm psychic.
