Horrible noise when braking!!

Ok I have tried to research this issue and have found some similar post's. I know now that Rhinos have a rear brake noise but my noise is different. It only occurs just the last few feet of a stop while applying the brakes. It is worse while going down a hill. It sounds like the clutch area.

My guess is that it is the clutch or wet clutch rattling as they unload after the spead and engine braking is slow enough. Am i right?? Is this normal??

It sound horrible, like its tearing itself appart. It slip drives great though.

Just as a side note, the noise was there when I got it and is still the same after a complete cluch overhaul.

If the one way bearing was bad wouldn't it slip or chatter under load? Like I said mine does it just the last few feat or second of a stop, on the brakes. I checked the one way for proper operation when i did the clutch and on the bench it worked fine.

Brake pads are $25 change the rear and see if its the brakes, then go from there

If you live in Vegas and need a General Contractor...call Manning Construction @ 497-5127

Did you ever find out what the problem is? Mine is doing the samething and its not a rear brakepad issue.

It is your brakes. Mine are like that. Spray some wd40 on the disk, the noise will go away....
