grease the rollers?

I am installing a new clutch because the factory one broke. I see that the factory grease is very stiff and hard. Do the new rollers need to be greased?

If the grease is stiff and hard my guess is that you are running a CVT Filter.... The heat kills the grease. If you are then get rid of it. You dont need it. It does more harm than good.

The rollers do need a little grease just to be safe. I smear a light coating on each roller. DO NOT us too much grease. You just need to smear a light coating on each roller.....

you can use wheel bearing grease rated for Disk brakes, or get the Yamaha stuff

put some on the rollers and some for the slider guides. that is about it.
