660 oil leak

ther is a plug/screw drivers side 1 inch below oil tube on top of valva cover. it is flat with a slot cut into it .it is the little metal one not the cam plug.anyone know what it is or why it would leak

i believe you are refering to the rocker shaft... and it has an inset o-ring.

it is a common leak from wear, replaced mine twice already. your local dealer should have it in stock.

yes it is the rocker shaft,just looked. but with 100 miles on it i wouldn't think it should be leaking. anyway thanks for the help i will go get a new seal
