660 or 700?

my 700 always ran at 210- the 700 fi always runs a little hotter for some reason- i guess all fi's do.

I put a fan over ride on it and now it run at 180 all the time.

Cant we all get along? lol

Mine ran at 210 or higher under load (climbing or WOT). I had to move the oil cooler, add a fan to the cooler, add manual switch to the fan to turn on at will. With all that it still would run up to 210 until I stole an idea for Rog, added an TCP shroud for $50.00. It never runs hotter than 180 now. Weller adds shrouds to their race Rhinos to prevent overheating as well.

thanks ROG I owe you one!!!

My little prototype model is another stocker style. I have a fan I can turn on and also plummbed the side fan to it. this was to do checks to see if there was improvement with spending alot of $$$

I recommend a Setrab cooler witha 6" fan prob for your Rotax. did you get the adaptor to remote the oil for yours yet Mark?

I ordered it and I ordered some adjustable weights to adjust my clutch, talked to chris about having him dial it in, when he isn't so busy. he says he knows comets pretty good.
