"R" light coming on while driving forward.

I have a 09' Rhino 700 and it is about a month old. The last 2 times I went out, I was driving and all of a sudden the "R" light came on and the Rhino started to slow down and started missing. Once I stopped and shifted into "N" or "R" it would go away. This happened 3 times in less than 2 miles. Does anyone know what the problem is? It is still under warranty, so I am going to take it back to the dealership. but just wanted to know it case it happens out of warranty.

on my 06 rhino there is a reverse switch that sits on top of the transmission. connected to the switch is a single wire connector that makes a poor connection to the switch, this causes the engine to cut out intermitently and at the same time cause the "R" light to come on. all you have to do is remove the wire from the switch and crimp the connector tighter so that it fits tighter onto the switch. this should take care of your problem... assuming the 09 is the same as an 06.
