Problem with new Rhino!!!

We just brought home an '07 660 with 88 hours on it. It hasn't been rode much in past few months. When ever you put it in High and take off the Reverse light comes on almost imediately. When you get up to around 22 or 24 MPH it starts cutting out. We changed the fuel filter, cleaned the air filter, and changed the Plug and it still does it. Any Ideas on what is going on?

Yes, i'll tell you exactly what is going on.

There reverse switch wire is making a poor connection to the reverse switch. The reverse switch is located on the top of the engine cases, directly underneath the airbox. The airbox may even be rubbing the connector on the switch.
To confirm, remove the wire from the switch. It is green with a white tracer. Connect the wire to ground (engine cases are fine) temporarily and test drive it. If the problem is gone, you have found the source of your frustration.

Your choices are:
1. Squeeze the connector and make i fit the switch tighter.
2. Leave the wire grounded all the time. NOTE - this will disable both the reverse light and the reverse rev limiter. It will now go any speed in reverse. Use caution when in reverse if choosing this route.

From what you stated that fixed the problem, leads me to believe that it probably just loosens up after time from vibrations, then if it gets loose enough dust will enter the cover and start causing issues with the contacts.

Good, cheap easy fix though, that's always a good thing.
