trapper,
Unfortunately we can't time upgrades perfectly. Kind of like the iPhone upgrade when lots of people got mad.

Our prices have since increased to include the new contactors. The contactor you received is great and has been working for people for the last 3 years. Let me know if you have any questions.

Quick update....just talking with production and it sounds like we misunderstood about the transformer oil. We changed it to a diferent kind of better lubrication inside that will be even better at taking the high heat. Frankly, we probably won't say much more specifically about the kind of lubrication we are using because we want it to be tougher for our competitors to go out and copy.

Yes. Not sure what the chemical is called, but it helps with high heat and corrosion. Hope that helps.

Apple did the right thing. We are selling the new contactor at the old prices though. Basically a discount. If you have questions, please call Tim at 866-527-7637.

trapper,
You are covered under warranty. Please call me at 866-527-7637. We will figure this out.

BTW, the new oil/chemical is only related to the contactors.
