My Rhino Rebuild

I let a friend drive my Rhino... Into a tree.
A broken jaw and three broken ribs later, he is healing and I am in the process of rebuilding.
I'll post more pictures as the project progresses!

WOW, Hope your friend is ok. I'll guess you won't let anymore friends drive your Rhino.

So far, I have about $3000 into the project.
I bought new Maier Plastics for half-price from their closeout bins.
I bought some OEM pieces from a guy on ebay who was parting out a Rhino. (rollbar piece, steering shaft assembly, front-right A-Arms, steering knuckle, etc...)
I also bought some new ITP wheels and Mudlites!
I bought a used frame on Craigslist from a guy in Arizona.
I am having it shipped to Michigan by USHIP for $200.
If you haven't heard of USHIP, go to their website, it's a great way to have goods shipped cross country.
I've been spending an hour or two after work on the project. It's been a great way to wind down after a hectic day.
The only other expense is the Beer I've been swilling while working on it!!!

Here are some more pictures...
I bought some tribal stickers for the tailgate with the name of our cabin in Northern Michigan... we call it The Bear Beaver Lodge.

Sorry to hear about your friend. I am sure the belts sure saved his life. Please keep the pictures updated on your rebuild. How fast was he going when he hit the tree?

My friend is ok now! His jaw was wired shut for a month. He could only drink liquids so he lost 15 pounds. He has a plate in his jaw and lost two teeth. He has to get braces on his lower teeth because they are all crooked now. Also his three broken ribs are ok now.
I estimate he was going 30 - 35 mph.
