Do you use a recovery winch?

Hey Rhinotalk,
Just curious, do you use a recovery winch? On a truck or your Rhino?
We have had customers interested in using our Viper Elite Recovery winches on their Rhino. Thoughts?

Good to know.
We will be rolling out our new ELITE series recovery winch sometime towards the end of this month. They are sure looking to be top-notch winches, and yet priced around $700 less than some of our competitors. We'll have them in 8,000lb, 10,000lb, and 12,000lb levels -- complete with AMSTEEL-BLUE cables, wireless remotes, integrated/submersible solenoids, premium line-speed, etc.

The question I have at this point has to do with how many ATV/UTV riders typically use recovery winches as well.....you all know better than us. We are trying to find the best possible channels to get the roll-out going.

I have 2 ramsey HD350 10.000 lbs hydraulic winches on my truck with 150' IWRC wire rope with swivel hooks.good for a easy 3.5 tons.....but I have been looking at puting another 10k on the front so would be interested if the line speed was good on the 10k and the amp draw was not too bad !!!!!!

THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE FASTER

BUT ONLY A FEW CAN FLY

Yes, never head out without one, mine is a 4000lb Warn. I cant remember going out and not using it at least once. There's a lot of muskegs and bogs around here.(Alberta foothills) I also have a 3000lb mounted on my trailer and a 9500lb on my Jeep, both Warn.

Smiz,
We are very different from Venom. Also have an updated contactor that is working great for people. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Tim

I have a multi-mount winch but the only thing I've used it for on my rhino so far is to raise/lower my plow. I used the winch on my Grizzly 450 a couple times when I got stuck. They are nice to have installed especially when you are out in the middle of 10buck2 and can't get a vehicle to your location or your just simply too far away from your vehicle to walk back.
