Running rough

I have searched all three Great Sites trying to solve this issue. My Rhino will not idle. It actually sounds like a two cylinder engine running on one. It sometimes burps (not backfire) through the carb. When the engine stops it stops hard. Using my search research I have done the following and checked the operation after each change.

*Drained the fuel and refilled with Shell Techron Hi Test and a bottle of Techron fuel additive.
*Changed the fuel filter
*Cleaned the intake filter (even tried running it with the intake filter)
*Checked the plug
*Adjusted the intake valves (as did most other people I found them to be tight)
*Cleaned the Pilot Jet
*Replaced the fuel pump.

have you adjusted the mix screw?

timing chain could be loose also.

like said, the intake boots a prone to cracking.

I agree, a hole or crack in the intake boot or a exhaust leak, if not, then it's a timing problem.,get connected
