Anybody have any tips or ideas...

about how I could minimize engine noise in the cab of my Rhino? It has a 686 big bore kit and snorkels on it, so it's pretty loud as the engine revs up...it's not too bad from the outside, but you can't hardly talk to the person in the passengers seat...I'd like to try and minimize some of that noise?

Any ideas?

I bought some Dynamat sheets typically used in car audio installations and put it on the loose metal like inside the center console, the bed floor and font of the bed ECt it stops alot of the rattles and reveb from the hole machine that helps but won't solve your problem, then I started using rugged radios intercom/music system and that really works

I don't have too much rattling and those type noises...just the engine rev in general. I thought about some sort of material like that but I have two concerns...one, how hot will the engine get it it's lined in there like that, and two how will that stuff hold up to elements like mud and water???

That don't work so you drowned it out with music? I guess that's a way, but wouldn't work for me, I need more quiet, not more loud! LOL

i didn't mean I literally wanna carry on a conversation with my passenger, I just meant get the noise levels in the cab down to a point I could say something without yelling and the passenger hear me.

My rhino is primarily used for hunting out of, I just want as smooth and quiet a ride as possible.

go back to stock, that is a quiet as it will ever be. The snorkel probably make the intake sound louder in the cab
