loud pop, no rear shaft movement

Hi guys, new here. I have an '08 700. 2 days ago I heard a loud pop that seemed to come from the back, then the rear stopped pulling. Front still works. After further inspection, the rear driveshaft doesnt turn when in gear. No noise at all when I give it some gas. Would appreciate any help or ideas before I tear into it. Thanks.

you most likely broke the engine through shaft, common on 700's

call Greg at Unleashed UTV for an upgraded 300m one.

Sorry no reply, had to head back to work. I took my rhino to a friend that is pretty good with these things, he said he has changed a couple of them in the 700's. So he is going to fix it while I'm away. I think Im gonna go back with a stock replacement, rather replace this shaft without pulling the motor than possibly something else later. Thanks for all the help!

My buddy just had this happen on his after he put new Turner axles in it, its the next weakest link. It is best to also install a Diff Plate from Weller Racing while you have the case split, (you can replace the shaft while it is in the bike, but it really is a difficult process because of the coupler, at least his was). Rhino Diff plates are crap, and if you should break one, you will most likely break the case. Its gonna cost, but were running those items, along with the reverse upgrade, and the have been bulletproof so far.
