What did you find? My Rhino makes a funny growling noise when the exhaust break lets go as I am going down hills. I am thinking it is the clutch but not sure.

Is the motor hitting the rev. limiter?

My CDI box is from Hunter works which raised the rev limiter and that wasn't the problem. I inspected the wet clutch and found that 1/3 of the pad was worn down to the metal. Which explains the growling noise I was having coasting down hills. I was able to find new clutch pads on EBAY which save me $200 rather than buying a new clutch assembly. She is running like new.
