grinding noise

I have noticed a grinding noise on my rhino. As i let off the gas and start to slow down or go down a steep hill without using brakes I hear a noise that sounds like gears grinding together. Anyone know what that might be?

How many hours do you have on the rhino?? My rhino has 75 hours on it And I have already gone through 2 set of rear break pads. I think I would start there

If it happns when you are NOT applying the brakes then it is probably your cvt. As long as it is not to loud then it is normal. Some refer to it as clutch chatter.

Same here. Only wears out one pad. Same mileage and just installed the 3rd set.
