carb mod, is it worth it?

is it worth messing with the fac carb and doing the machine work too it? no i do not want an aftermarket carb either.....thanks

If you do not want an aftermarket carb then yes.

it will help, but do not expect the big change like the FCR or Mikuni.

there's nothing like having an accelerator pump at your disposal,sooooo much easier to start with the pump and choke once its been in hybernation for a while....mikuni,not the edelbrock.....not what u wanted to hear eah?

Yes. It's only 2 or 3 horsepower if all else is in a good state of tune. But on a machine with around 25 horses stock, that's a 10% increase. I run one on mine.
But have it done by Alba if your going to do it.

I think that their flight from and hatred of technology is self-defeating. The Buddha rests quite as comfortably in the circuits of a digital computer or the gears of a cycle transmission as he does at the top of a mountain or in the petals of a flower.
