Unhappy top speed is 44 mph need help

i have an 07 rhino 660 with a cluch and a slip on yosh pipe it will only do 44 mph every one i talk to says theres will do 50 mph if i unplug the speed sensor it will do 49 mph on the gps i need to know whats wrong

do you have a CDI box? a clutch sheave, cdi, intake and exhaust should get you around 58 mph, thats on hard pack, not sand of course.. maybe a clogged fuel filter, how many miles/hours on it? have you done the fuel filter, the one that comes stock fills up w silicone from the gas tank. it needs to be changed usually within the first 250-500 miles

dont buy my video. it sucks anyway!!!!

I with mayhem....How many miles???? Did you jet it after the pipe?? If so what main jet is in it? CDi Box???

i do not have a cdi. the guys at yosh said to use a 165 main and i did it runs great i replaced the fuel filter and did a complete service one it. i am lost i talk to people that do nothing but the chutch and they are doing 50. as soon as my speedo hits 44 it dies no matter how high the rpms may be and i dont want to change the cdi intell i fix or at least find out why it is doing what its doing

let me start by saying when i first got the car brand new it would do 40 and i was ok with that as time went on it got slower and slower tell it got down to 35 wide open on flat ground thats when some one said to put a clutch on it so i did then it did 44 the guys at dasa said it should do 50 so i replaced the belt as it has 1700 hard glamis miles on it but still only 44 if i unplug the speed sensor it will do 49 on my gps. so i guess my questin is will they do 50 with the stock cdi or is every one that says theres does 50 with a stock cdi lying

No it will not do 50mph. Get the cdi box, and go from there.

i forgot to say i also changed the big spring behind the other pully but dasa said it would work good on a stock motor

Upgrade to a new CDI

The spring will help with lower end torque only.
