Intake question!

I put an out of the box intake on my '06 660 and it is way loud, and I also didn't notice much change in power. I have rejetted (50 pilot,175dj main,dj needle, and 2out on a/f). I am thinking of putting the stock box back on, but hate the restriction it has. What is the RAIS tube mod everyone is doing, and does anybody have a pic they could share? Thanks in advance.

that intake is one of the best out there IMO, that's a good exaust set-up as well. suprised to hear there isn't a noticeable difference on power. that may be too much jet for it, if I were you I would put the sock pilot back in the carb and try the 170 main jet.

I had that set up to start and it was stuttering off the bottom and at about 3/4 throttle. I had to move the clip down to the fourth slot (from the top) to clean up the bottom, but the mid was still stuttering so I went up to the 175 and it cleaned up. I am using DJ main jets. I am still running my stock cdi. I have a dyna on order, and I have an ebay brand AMR stage 3, but it went way lean with the AMR cdi and I didn't have any bigger jets. Will I see a power increase with the dyna cdi? Do you have a pic of this RAIS mod?

You need an aftermarket cdi....then those mods will pay off.

If you live in Vegas and need a General Contractor...call Manning Construction @ 497-5127
