700 msd ignition module and sheave

I just recently purchased the msd ignition module and a shaved clutch sheave for my 700 rhino. I am running 28 inch silverbacks and the msd is on #3 setting. I must say i am discusted at the performance i got out of both of them. Everyone on this site said an ecu and sheave was the only way to go but now i wished i would have bought duels and a programer. The only difference in my rhino now is that it will do 46 instead of 42 like it was stock and it takes a hell of lot longer to get it there too. Kinda like i lost some power somewhere. And the msd ingition module gave just a little more throttle response, not enough to amount to anything. I was hopeing after i get some duels and intake that it would pep it up a little. Maybe i just had too high of hopes. Any help on anymore power out of the rhino would be usefull, thanx.

I dont know why you would have wanted the duels... they would have only made you hit the 42mph limiter a little sooner. Something must be wrong, take the MSD off and see what the sheave gives you. You should be in the 47-48mph range with just that, possibly you may have lost a roller while putting the clutch back together?

Possibly Lean!

From what I hear it sounds like it is lean or timing is off. We havn't worked on the MSD set is it a fuel controller as well or just the ECU.
