removing baffel in stock exhaust

i was told by a mechanic friend that you can remove the baffel in the stock exhaust and change the jetting and it helps alot. I wanted to see it anyone has tried this or is this guy blowing smoke

you can take off the tip and remove the spark arrestor, then put on a larger tip, helps, but do not expect some major power gain.

I do not know if anything else can be done to the stock can.

you can do that and pull the header off and smoothen out the welds inside the end where it goes into the head.

Remember..... It is illegal to ride on public lands with the spark arrestor removed... I have had been stopped and checked by the Rangers before...

I drilled holes in the rear baffle of my stock muffler. It made it annoyingly loud. Didn't notice any gains.
