Jetting Question

Ok I know all you mutha fuckas are in glamis right now but does anyone know what jetting i should use or start out with. I dont know what jetting i have now but i changed it to whatever came with my k&n intake. Performance mods ill have are cdi, kms duners clutch and sheave, k&n intake and woods exhaust...im gonna install the exhaust this weekend and i know i need to change the jetting.

what size did it come with? 170?

fuck me! i dont know man....i didnt even look. i just replaced it when i did the intake a while back. i just got the woods exhaust and there were no jets with it. i tried to call the pro shop which is where i got it from but they arent in today

if its the k&n high flow intake system then you have a 170. with the ron woods i would bump it upto 180 & see how she runs.

ok sweet....ya its the k&n high flow intake for sure. ill get some jets and try that and see how it works

Yep yours came with a 170 main, I am running I think a 180 (or 175, I forget) with my pipe and AFE... You could probably run the 170 but I'd bump it up and see how the plug looks.

i ran my K&N intake and LTE exhaust with a 170 main and it ran bitchin,,, took a look at the spark plug and found it was lean. bumped the jet upto a 180 and called it good.

should i just try to run it with the 170 for a while then see what happens or bump it up to a 180 to be safe?

it will prolly run its best with a 170 main jet, but could run into problems down the road from being to lean. when it comes to jetting it is always better to be too rich than too lean,,, i say bump it to atleast 175.
