Cleaning Parts?????

So whats the best method to clean parts???? I want to clean up a head. What the best thing to use??? I normally douche everything down with Brake Clean. But I am afraid of messin up the Valve seals. Lets hear it. What do the Pros use?

anytime i have taken the head off of my rhino i have completely dissasembled it,,, cleaned it with brake clean,,, polished the ports,,, and replaced the valve seals. i like to take my time and do it right.

I would think brake cleen would be ok if you rinse it off after you use it?

some brake cleaner is rubber and seal friendly.we use it at work on $1 000 000 machines

i usually use a bucket of carb clean... make sure to remove any seals first though!
