clutch mods

who has the best sheeve? i had the KMS, but now i have been reading that there are different setup. what should i do.

there is nothing wrong with the KMS, they were one of the first to do machined sheaves, MikeF is happy with the one from UTVCrap.

Unleashed has good ones also, (where I got mine)

grizzly-----------improvement 54-55
hunterworks----a little better 56-57
utvcrap-kms-unleashed utv --------most top speed 60+

that sounds about right. my boat of a four seat will do 58-59 on flat ground.

what about the wet spring? should i change it now? i will be doing 686 kit in the near fut. will that make it run like crap untill i do the 686?

Do you mean secondary spring? Most guys with stock motors like the blue spring.

no, the wet clutch spring. i have heard of all kinds of setup. FJ, can you say what chris set you up with or is this g-14? i run the orange sec. spring already.
