Help a Ninja out....

Ok guys changed my oil, cleaned my filters, changed my fuel filter....started the rhino and it ran good for a coupla min. then it died, started it again it died pulled choke it started then died....wont start at all now.
Could it be....
1. the fuel filter is wrong size for the hoses? air's gettin in at the connections?(I zip tyed em but maybe???)
2. fuel pump? just replaced it at end of summer night runs...?
3.????

Any sug. guys ...help a ninja out

If you put on a larger filter than stock (like I use) it will be a mother to get started again, pull the fuel line and prime the carb bowl, it is easier that way, once you get it running, it should be ok after that.

Rog,
The filter is smaller than the one I took off(both are aftermarket)....replied on other thread that it was runnin for several min. after I changed it then it died and wouldnt stay running???

take the gas line off at the carb at turn it over and see if gas comes out,
Also make sure the little y fitting is facing up.

Mark,
Ive got clear hoses at the top of my pump and I can see that theres no gas going thru em....but the pumps only a few months old seems weird if it went bad that fast

Either it needs to be primed or it's bad. Does the filter fill up with fuel at all??

I put a after market fuel filter on once and it wouldnt start or run for shit, dont know why. Put oem filter on and fired right up.

Tossed the after market filter in the trash and picked up a few more oem filters.

No its not filling up....guess Im going to buy a new pump today

and a oem filter maybe, although that shouldnt matta

try bypassing the filter first and see if it pumps gas up before spending the coin on a new pump.


Put some gas in a redcup( haha) and stick the end in there, see if it sucks up the gas.

I pulled the filter back out and its already a lil dirty(bad gas) but I can blow thru it easily...

I dont have any gas handy except for in the tank....dont say siphon it I dont have a pump and well you know that fuckin taste
