Gauge help

Well found me some gauges and got everything working but got a question! On the head behind the thermostat housing is a temp probe for the light on my dash, my gauge came with a temp probe that fit perfectly so what I need to know is is that factory probe hooked to anything else besides that trouble light or since I have a gauge is is cool to leave in hooked?

Now that you have a real gauge,no need for the light.

just ground it to keep your light off. run a pigtail from the plug to the cam cover bolt.
