686 dyno hp #

I just got back from running on a dyno my best Hp was 30.2 i ran with my 26" tarra cross tires and 14 " ss wheels i allso have stock exhaust and carb ,Does this Hp sound right i didnt have anyone to compare to with the same setup. I was wondering which would give me the best Hp gain a new carb or a new exhaust .I can only get one running low on funds,

I would go with an exhaust first. Once you go up to the 686 it wants to breathe. I run AC duals and Like them....Some prefer woods. My rhino has never seen a dyno

I agree with Jim, Do an exhaust first, Also a staker intake to let it get air. Your Dyno numbers are good. I ran about the same HP with my 686.

I run Ron Woods Exhaust and they seem to work good.

Here is the 686 with a Rotax engine laid over the top.

really rick? yours dyno's at 37-something. mine was at 38 with 10:1 686 and woods exhaust. if we did the fcr carb we would be at 40-45HP. i think you mean we were at around 40 not 30...
they dyno stock at 27-28 with a 660, a couple mods and you are at 30HP, alot of 686's run well over 40HP, some even into the 50's

dont buy my video. it sucks anyway!!!!
