Brp cdi

I have a stock 06 660 with a BRP cdi box. The cdi is bad and I called BRP and they said that the box is out of warrenty but they would give me a discount on a new cdi if I sent in my old cdi. My question is the BRP cdi worth it even at a discounted price? The bad cdi was purchased with the Rhino in 06.

Thanks for any advice.

Yes it is, and the newer ones are better ( some first ones had issues), They are also Dynatek CDI's.

07fj is right, it is worth it. Your bad CDI is probably an old Procomm. The ones they sell now are Dynateks.

There were a small amount of the original BRP CDI's that had issues. They were the opriginal CDI's from early 2006 when they were made by Procomm.

The new BRP Stage 2 CDI is awesome. I have been running it for close to 2 years with no issues. I am very happy with it. I beleive it is made by Dynatek.

They offer a $50.00 credit towards the purchase of a new CDI when you return your old CDI.... working or not. I think that is a good deal.
