Duners kit and sheave

I did the duners kit and new sheave prior to my last trip to Galmis and have mixed feelings. It does pull better up the hills but I lost top speed in the flats. If I go to a 686 kit with the current duners kit will I see any change in performance on hills or increase in top speed? I go between Oco and Glamis so I would like the speed back but don't want to sacrifice the pull. Jon

I got the kit from UTV Crap. It pulls well. I'm just bummed I lost some topend speed. So on the hard pack I'm going to be left behind.

im thinking too much grease in the sheave and it wont allow the rollers to fully extend....

I lost top on the sand. I compared runs just 1 1/2 weeks apart with same conditions and my speed after the change was about 4mph slower. Maybe the sand was a little softer the second time I don't know. But several long runs between Gecko and the aquaduct, I didn't get the same speeds as the weekend before, approx. 42-44mph with wife and son in ride. I first did have too much grease in and removed sheave and cleaned it out. I had installed it before I found this site. I'm going to Oco later this month so I'll see on the hard pack.

something is not correct, I would check to see if a roller flopped out, you should def get more than that

Yeah, that seems like something is wrong, I have the same exact duners kit and clutch from UTVCRAP.

I gained higher top end, along with the better climbing with the duner spring. You should be faster, not slower.
