Cdi box

Is one cdi box better than another for performance? I have a procom which works fine but was wondering if some of them give better acceleration than others. Mine is two years old.

Please Identify your ride.
660 - 700Fi
I will assume you have a 660.
Do not think there are much "performance" gains with CDI. Mostly they change the timing and change a few other things.

I do not know which box is better, have heard pretty good stuff about Black Rhino and that's what I have and it does make a difference. I went from 38mph to 45mph and a whole lot better throttle response. No other mods done yet but it makes it hard to start after sittin in the garage for a week.

You will need to rejet the carb and put a bigger air intake. check out my thread.
