Coolant system help

I have a 2007 rhino. Stock bore with ac duals, carb, cdi, intake sheeve, PWR radiator and PWR oil cooler. I am also running engine ice. Well the cooling systme seems to have pressure ...... like the car could sit for a week. Then if i try to pull off the radiator cap there is pressure and coolant blows out. Any ideas of what is causing this? Is it ok? Thanks ......

The cap came with the PWR radiator. I did have to trim the ears off the cap to clear my long travel shock towers. Not sure what the pressure is on the PWR cap.

If its not pushing the coolant into the over flow bottle I wouldnt worry about it. I have a friend that has a similar problem right now and he has been trying to figure it out for a month or more.

No it is not filling up the overflow bottle. Just when i open the radiator cap it is like opening a can of coke that has been shaken. I guess the pressure is a good thing as long as i am not loosing the coolant right?

Have you tried bleeding the system?? and a lower pressure cap might help.

I have seen them with pressure like that. It can become a problem if it starts pushing water. It will end up Vapor locking on you and you will have to bleed the system every ride. I would highly recommend getting a temp gauge installed if you dont have one already.

Yeah ..... i added fluid left the cap off. Then started the car and added more fluid still left the cap off. Next bled the system 2 times. I then put more fluid in and put the cap on. I then bled it one more time and no air came out just fluid.
