CDI for 04 / 660

Hi - I would like to hear some feedback in regards to installing an aftermarket
CDI box. Anyone have any problems by doing so ? Is re -jetting reqiured ?
I would like to try one but increasing the rpms on a single cylinder engine with
a piston the size of a juice can seems it may be a bit risky. Would just like to
hear some feedback.

Thanks,

unless you really need more top speed, there is no reason to have one. but they are reliable and work well.

dynatek is most common for a 660 rhino.

more cdi

i,ve been dealing with a place called regulator,rectifier.com for my cdi. the one they sent was for a 660 rhino, mines a 450. it didnt work and popped and farted the whole time it warmed up and then ran 3 mph slower than the stock cdi.i sent it back and they said they are sending me a different model but the 2 a
re interchangeable. i think a 450 cdi would work in a 660 because it turns more rpm,s but it wont work the other way around.what do you guys think?
i'm thinking i should have spent the extra 30.00 and got the dynatek.

i guess i should bad-mouth regulator/rectifier.com for a lousy product[cdi] and a no cash back warranty, they just keep sending you ones that dont work, and you pay shipping.
