Secondary Spring

hey. new to the forum and cant find what i need off the search....

I have a 09 700 with 27" mudlite xtr's, a dynatek cdi, K&N airbox and filter, and i am about to put in a hart's racing sheave. I dont feel the need to play with the wet clutch springs and from what i've read the stock weights seem to work best for many ppl with many different mods (which seems weird cause as a snowmobile guy i play with weights a lot). but i cant find a clear answer on what secondary clutch spring i need to properly handle the extra load of my big tires....

any ideas? anyone know what comes with the rhino 700 EPI sport/utility kit?

you can use a gold EPI spring.

with your tires you may want to drop 2 grams in rollers also.

call unleashed UTV 602-246-4011 for these parts and sheaves. sheaves only help with top end, so no need unless you want more speed

The gold EPI spring is the way to go and if you already have a machined sheave the od slidding weights will not work. 18g total weights would work though.

k thanks a lot guys. good to know i should use the EPI gold.

so are 18g weights 2 grams lighter than stock? I wish i had a tach so i can see where my peak rpms are but oh well maybe ill get one in the future. the bigger tires are probably bringing my peak revs down so lighter weights do make sense.

I use this machine for everything from towing for farmwork and hunting to just plain old trail riding and mudding so i need decent all around setup...
