Questions on Sheave
I am having trouble with my 07 686 rhino with kms sheave. I have never replaced the belt and I am getting a miss at upper rpm range and after going through everything within the fuel system I am thinking it may be that my belt has worn and when I get into a full load situation that my belt is slipping and I am hitting the rev limiter. Wondering if that sounds logical and if I am going to change the belt what service or replacement of parts would make sense for the KMS sheave. I am a little confused on the weights and the effect of lighter versus heavier. Any suggestions on what belt, what maintenance and what parts would be helpful. Have a BRP CDI, stock Carb, Dual Exhaust and the motor is a 686 but no cam or valve work was done.
Thanks for any input.
