Top speed problems

Hey guys I am new to Rhinos and got a sweet deal on an 2007 450 got it for $1500! I got the engine running great, revs good and has great compression, however When you drive it all you can get is about 10 mph? It has 26in Mudwisers and a lift kit, rest is all stock. Could this be the Wet clutch slipping really bad? it just revs out when you put it to the floor, it had a hard life of mudding and as far as I know the clutch is all stock, just has a new drive belt. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

Ok, soo I took off my mud tires (26-12-12) and put my stock ones back on, it gained some speed and torque but it still feels like High is Low gear and wont top out. Any suggestions? Maybe the clutch is burnt up?

I would start by taking off the cvt cover and in nuetral rev it up and see if the belt is coming all the way to the top of the primary. If it is not then i would pull it off and inspect inside the clutch, you may need to clean all the old grease probably caked with mud out and regrease.

I hope that is your problem, pretty simple to fix. You should also look into the Jbs hot rod sheave. More low end power and pulls great all the way to top speed. If you want i can set you up with james. Great guy to deal with. Let me know.

Soo I took off my belt cover tonight and discovered a crap load of Grease everywhere, on the belt, all over the cover, the sheaves and the clutch. Could this be from the grease on the weights? Was pretty happy there wasnt any oil tho
