Question Trail ridding exhaust

Was wondering what you all thought would be the best exhaust for trail-mud riding. dont want it much louder than stock just a little more umph and better sound than stock.

Thanks for all information and suggestions.

EDIT: was thinking of duals (HMF, AC, ETC....) any thought on these????

I'm having a similar issue with my cart. I pulled the FMF off and put on a $30 glasspack but it didn't do too much for noise. I need it quiet too.
if you find something let me know. I'm trying all kinds of shiznit at this point and having a tough time at it.

Ron Woods with the Supertrapp tip. Best power and sound for a single pipe out there.

Less aggressive is the Gibson with the Turn down tip.

Thumbs up

I'm a woods rider myself and I'm running the Alba exhaust system on mine. I like it quite a bit, noticeable power increase and it's not a whole lot louder than stock, deep pleasant tone. I aimed the tail pipe straight down which helps a bit as well.

I think that their flight from and hatred of technology is self-defeating. The Buddha rests quite as comfortably in the circuits of a digital computer or the gears of a cycle transmission as he does at the top of a mountain or in the petals of a flower. To think otherwise is to demean the Buddha--which is to demean oneself.

One other question,

is there much diffrence between a slip on and the whole system (in most cases).

The stock header is very restrictive, either just add a tip to stock muff or replace the whole thing, the slip ons do not a whole lot.

Those dual pipes are way loud in my exsperience. i like my Ron Woods pipe alot. I did other mods at the same time so i am not sure how much just a pipe will do, if anything?

i never heard one but i think they are one of the best looking kits out there next to the ron woods. Rog installed one on his and i am pretty sure he digs it.
