There is a rev limiter on the cdi box in reverse. The only cdi box that removes it is Dyna

wait what do you mean by no power..? If i put mine in reverse and floor it it will spin the tires and then the rev limiter will kick in, but I have climbed some huge hills in reverse that means to me i have power. I don't have speed but i have power

I don't think a CDI will help that..

So, you get in turn it on and put it in "H" (forward) and floor it. Does it take off and get up to speed just fine?

Now put it in "R" and floor it and it barley moves. How does the motor sound?
does it sputter? does it cut off? Does it sound normal and feel normal rpm go up and it just doesn't move?

Do you have any mods?

Sorry but are you sure the E-brake is off?

Answer all these question and i am sure some of the guys here that are much smarter than me can help out

That is definitely the reverse rev limiter kicking in. The new Rhino 700's don't have that which is nice, but my 2008 Grizzly 450 did and it allowed you to easily get stuck if you weren't careful.

Do the older rhino's have an override button like the grizzly's did for the rev limiter?
