Just installed XMF LT

Whats a good start point for the clickers??? I have a 4 seater and run hard pack Desert 4 up 90% of the time. Do you guys back the clickers off when running 2 up??? Preload is set per Scott at XMF I just forgot to ask him about the clickers.

Thanks, Jeff

start on a low number and see how it is, then go from there.

It depends on how aggressive you are of a driver... I have mine set all the way stiff.. It rides a little harsh on the small stuff when im just crusing around but performs GREAT when haulin ass!! Id try going all the way stiff then back off two clicks and see how it feels.

I imagine you have Elkas right? Regardless of the brand, I like to start in the middle. Find an area that you feel will be representative where you do the biggest % of riding. Pick a section or course that you can go over and over and over again. You can't do setup on a ride! You have to hit the same stuff you hit before the change or you"ll never really feel the change.

So, here we go, start in the middle of the settings. Do a run and pay attention to the feel. Let's say the front is ok but the rear is soft. So start your changes on the rear only. Make a big change and go all the way stiff on the rear. Do a run. The reason for big changes is so you can feel the difference in the change. Let' now say that was too stiff but a change in the right direction. Now come back half way. Make a run. Now you'll be narowing in on it. Let's say that change made it a little too soft, so go back half way to stiff from where you are at. Now you are probably 2 clicks either way of where you want to be. Make a run. Stop there on the rear and repeat the process on the front. Remember to only change the front or the rear not both between runs. Once the front is close you may have to go back to the rear because one end affects the other. Now you can fine tune. If you do have the elka six way, remember that two of the adjusters are for low velosity adjustment. Leave those alone until you have the high velosity dialed in. The low speed adjusters will do the fine tuning for you.

Well did I confuse you yet?

If he has WERs, the adjuster is only for low shaft velosity tuning. You know the difference of spilling your cocktail or not!

you probably don't need to do a damn thing. if scott set them up. they are right then, if you told him whether you are 2 or 4 seat, approximate weight. they have it dialed in!!!! I have never even touched mine and it works insane. the back never bounces, it lands jumps smooth with no bottoming, I can haull ass in the whoops, it is setup usually as good or close as it gets straight from XMF. and this not because they gave me a kit. its cuz I abuse the hell out of it and it comes back for more every time!!!!! they have the valving dialed in... IMHO

dont buy my video. it sucks anyway!!!!
