HCR Spindles/wheel clearance

whoow.... Yesterday, I took off my sand paddles and installed my oem wheels and tire. Last night and today, I drove the rhino around the neighborhood. After the ride,I noticed the wheels have less than 2mm clearance from rubbing the HCR spindles!!

I currently, have HCR spindles with a XMF +6 lt kit. After seening the clearance issue, I need to purchase big horn tires and wheels. Which wheel/tire combo size is best for this set up?

Stick with 25" tires. I would run the stock offset and run a 1 inch spacer if needed

A 14" wheel will or will not give me the proper clearance? Or will I need to run a spacer no matter which size wheel I use?

I wouldnt run a 14. Your tire selection isnt as good. And you will be stuck with 26" tires. You dont want to run those. On a standard offset wheel it doesnt hurt to run a 1 inch spacer.

I would contact Magnum and talk to dan. He just got a tire wheel combo that is lighter than a Big Horn of the wheel......Super bad ass!! He also runs a +6 LT and HCR spindles..

the 14" would definately clear. You will lose a little bit of power, but if its for the neighborhood, the 14's look better.

futsa!

Curious GregC...how much off the top speed will I loose?

Anyone know of a company which sell any trick clamps to hold my resies?

I really hate to see these stupid hose clamps holding down my resies.

Not much top speed at all. It will just take a little longer to get there.

you will lose some bottom end power but you will gain top end speed...my buddy who has 27" tall BFG's rolls at 58 top speed and he only has a CDI on his 660. No cluthc mods or anything.......
