I have front and rear shock towers for my LSR XTR system. I changed spring to 175 front and 200 rears to settle in the suspension, I now have 3/8" preload on them. but the rear shocks are well over 22", can't pull up the exact info on the LSR site. fronts are 21.75"

At least,

Which Bilsteins do you have?? Black billet bodies or the standard silver ones?

You should be able to get those dialed in fairly easily.

also what springs are you running now and these are for stock upper shock locations, yes?

Measure Very Well

Think this out carefully a shock tower is going to change your shock angle and obviously mounting point highth wise. This will change the leverage ratio which could mean a complete valving change and could easily cause the frame to travel into the ground. If you feel your front spring rate is good I would try to find a shorter spring with the same rate or if it could go softer a lighter spring rate would get you a little more sag in the front. I think shock towers are great but they have to be designed as part of the complete kit.

the front springs are 250. the setup runs great in the sand, very smooooth. but once i drive on hard pack, its way to soft. there is a track that we run on and i can drive around my shocks. sucks. i was also thinking of buying WER shocks as they have some adjustments to them but i have a hard time spenig money again for what i already have. FJ, they are the black body with heat coils and they are for stock shock location.
the biggest prob is that i cant put any perload cause the dam thing sitts so high.

also i have already sent the front back once because the shock was topping out when i jumped. i think the wers are 18.5, and the foxs are 19? that would lower my ride height.
