Suspension Sag

So i've searched inside and out and can't find anything that deals with my issue, so here it goes. 4-Seater, stock a-arms, fox piggyback shocks. I installed a set of fox shocks on my ride and when i let it off the jack it didn't sag at all front or rear. So i took the pre-load all the way down and started dialing up. So far it seems to sag about 4 inches from what i can tell. About 10 1/2" ride height front and rear. What's the best sag with stock arms?

Thanks.......

I have always read that your sag should be set a 30% of your total travel.

That is a pretty good number, now go out and Drive it and adjust from there.

you may have to raise it depending on how you ride.

i run mine pretty hard. I got the shocks off a race rhino (2-seater) that was set-up a little stiff for the jumps. Dont know if this will hurt/benefit my four seater.

PRob benefit your 4 seater with more valve control.

you are at about the stock ride height.

To add to that measure at the shock shaft.

from the pic the arms dont look too flat or too angled, it depends on what terrain you drive, i leave mine kinda low for the dunes for center of gravity and more down travel for jumping, in moab in the rocks i was scraping all over the place and a guy who had his set higher was clearing everything no problem. try it out and see how it feels and adjust to your liking....

dont buy my video. it sucks anyway!!!!

So i took it out this weekend to a local spot for some testing. I kept hitting the bump stops in the rear so i put a few turns in my pre-load. Ended up bringing front and rear up a total of an inch. I can still get into the turns pretty hard and feels stable, ( also removed sway bar). But running through some pretty good whoops at full throttle was a little stiff. So i brought my nitrogen pressure from 200Psi. on all 4-corners to, 140Psi. in the front and 150Psi. in the rear. Seems to work great. FYI: I run 90% desert.
