-----new race spindle design debut-----

I have dedicated the last week or so in designing and re-designing a spindle upright for the 2006 Yamaha Rhino. I want to thank all the people who helped me out with this. Many of you contributed a lot of input as far as what is needed and expected in the UTV industry. The JPEGS below are my final draft. For the most part, this upright is a fabricated part. The material used will be 100% 4130 type A. As far as specs on the spindle-it utilizes the factory geometry of the 2006 Yamaha Rhino. I stress 2006 only to cover my own butt, as I have not looked into the compatibility with future/later model Rhinos. Feel free to ask questions. Thanks again.

As far as price-I am waiting on quotes from the machinist who is making the bearing carrier and other machined parts. The timing all depends on them as well. I think I may have to try a different machine shop!

I haven't given much thought about people placing orders. I guess I can start a name list. I am having difficulty with financing this project, as I am on my own, so it may take a few weeks before the first set is finished. I will list my email address for those who are interested and want to be notified when the spindles are ready.

They look amazing!

Hope the finished product looks the same.

I doubt I will be disapointed.

Great job ben!

Looks like your on the right track. But it looks like in your drawing it's plated out towards the end of the snout of the spindle. The disc brake part of the wheel hub goes over that snout, you might want to double check that.
Besides that it looks great.

Awww! You have a good eye! I noticed my mistake at about 11:00 this morning! I am correcting it-shouldn't effect the rest of the design. I am just glad the flaw was caught before prototyping! Thanks for your input!
