Rear axles snapping

CST Mid Travel w/ their axles-I broke a rear axle at parker 425. Fixed it and broke the other side last weekend. I am assuming the rear diff must be moving. I don't have a rear diff support plate. Has anyone else had this problem? I keep an eye on my rear diff bolts and have welded a cracked diff mount????

Generally when you break an axle...if you run it on the other one at all you will need to replace both. The other side will be fatigued

yep, general rule, if you break an axel and drive on the one for any length of time, you should replace both shafts.
also, you may have broke the first one if you were on the gas when landing jumps, small or big. lots of whoops will also twist the shaft after awhile. and I highly recommend a lower rear diff support, not so much for the axels, but for the diff itself.

Sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do...I had a Grizzly 660 that i ran like 10 miles home on one rear axle.. tell ya what they really don;t go very good in 3 wheel drive, but if thats what it takes to get you home...

i have replaced both rear axles. just put the right rear in this morning, took it for a ride on paved roads for about 10 miles. was almost home when i turned a corner and heard a pop. it did the jerk to one side when accel/decel, broke the new axle. not sure why it did it, i run the lonestar midtravel.
