Front L/H outer C/V boot

I have an 09 450 that i thought the boot was torn and bought a factory replacement boot. I have never replaced one berore and dont have a service manual. Need to know the proper steps on replacing, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Forgot to mention I couldnt find a hole in the boot but most all the grease was gone, any suggestions.

Go back and reread my post on the other thread. I changed it to the outer cv. I had a brain fart and was telling you how to do the inter cv instead. It was just a long day . If there was no hole in the boot the grease had to wash out of one end. Maybe a loose clamp or running in to much water. If everything looks and feels good just regrease with cv grease ( not wheel bearing grease) and go have fun.

The water makes since, i use it on the farm and to get all the way around i have to cross a creek 6 times round trip. I try to not get deeper than the floor boards. Thanks for all the information.
