Anybody see the new CST Long Travel Kit?

You can use your stock shocks until you decide to upgrade. So it's not so costly all at once. I don't know how using long travel arms w/ stock reservoir shocks will ride. Any ideas? I don't want to be the first to buy them. I think I'll wait untill they're are a few reviews

"SET TO BE RELEASE IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS IS OUR BRAND NEW YAMAHA RHINO +3 LONG TRAVEL SUSPENSION SYSTEM. TAKE A LOOK AT SOME PHOTO'S FROM THE PROTOTYPE INSTALL. (AFTER MARKET SHOCKS WERE NOT INSTALLED YET)"

They are using the term "long travel" a little loosely!

So can you guys define "Long Travel and Mid Travel" for me please. Because I was under the impression that anything over stock would be considered long travel. Because any Arm longer than stock is going to get more travel right. Thanks for the clarification.

Looks like a good kit and the price is right too.

6 inches wider each side is what we usually consider 'long travel'
where 3 inches wider each side is what we recognize as 'mid travel'

with a 6 inch kit you usually get around 14 inches of travel
a 3 inch kit gives 10-12ish inches?...stock has 8ish?
so the wider kit can allow longer travel...but a mid travel kit is leaps over stock

I was told by a CST rep that it "It will have a true 12" of travel " and The kit without shocks will be approx $2200" I think he said the kit will work with stock, Fox, and Walker Evens shocks. The kit's are at powder coat now.

I was told my 08 Rhino SE shocks were night and day over the non SE models? My rhino is the only one I've ever drove so I can't confirm that. I have seen my stock shocks on craigslist or Ebay for $600-800 so they can't be that bad.

So with my stock SE shocks and the CST kit would my rhino ride exactly the same but feel a little more stable because of the +3 kit since the shocks mount at the same place or would the kit some how allow the stock SE shocks to get the full 12" of travel?

Caliber I'm sure the kit with stock shocks will be 100% better over stock shocks, and when you add after market shocks it will improve it that much more. Just my 2 cents.
