2006 Rhino Special Edition. in the process of giving her a face lift of sorts. New tires, shocks, belt, all new fluids and cleaning up the clutch components. Still trying to determine what is the best axles to go with. Have one starting to show it's age.

I was working on my 450 Rhino today. Parked it last week was running fine but wouldn’t start went over general things has fuel and spar. But just won’t start tied all basics with no luck. Seems to have compression hit it with a touch of starting fluid but no starting at all. Any suggestions seems like it might be making some no but not sure if just not hearing that before with seats and all together. New fuel pump new plug and fuel is definitely getting to carb also changed fuel filte.
thanks for any help Bill

Bill, are you sure you have good spark. If you are using starting fluid, assuming you are using it in the right location, this thing should come to life at least for a few seconds. And if it does, then you may have fuel to the carb but it's not getting pass the float.

let me start by saying thank you for the response. Yes I have a good spark I even changed plug ,it’s getting good blue spark and the original plug was giving same blue red spar. And shot starting fluid right into breather with filter off. Then tried a little gas into head just before reinstalling plug. And I’m not getting any firing at all. This machine is my nephews I work on quads a lot so going over basics but now I’m baffle. Took valve cover off and can see vale springs compressing. We do here a noise coming from lower end though. When plug is out seems to havre good amount of compression but I didn’t have compression gauge with me.
any ideas and do you happen to know what the compression should be. I appreciate any help.
thanks Bill
