reverse light coming on when in other gears

when in neutral and other gears the reverse light comes on.It makes cut out spit and sputter.the light is actually on with the other light.with my stock cdi it will rev but then the light kicks on and it cuts out.with the aftermarket box it just cuts out straight way through.

the single wire (green w/white stripe) that connects to your reverse switch on the top of the trans is not making a good connection. all you have to do is crimp down the end of the connector so that it makes solid contact with switch or just ground the wire.:good:

I did exacly what August just reccomended it but my connection was still bad so I just grounded it....now I dont have a reverse light but BIG DEAL! lol

could not get a good connection with crimping either grounding it worked thank you.
