just read it on dumontduneriders.com that they have closed there doors....not sure if it is true, but for the last few mo, there was speculation that they were going to re-do the way they do business and not warranty anything for a few mo......just a little info:mad: so if i had a WW i would be a little nervous now....

Thanks Andre...I am a lil nervous....however LVRV(wheelers) told me that they will warranty my trailer through them for everything except specific WW parts such as upholstery and logos...the general stuff is still warrantied through the dealer and the parts manufacturer...i.e...ref., gen., tires, oven...supposedly theyre are covered under their own warranties....but it does suck!!
Wow that totally sucks. I bet none of us saw that coming. Especially me. My wife and I just bought a 2009 SS2500 last October.

Only problem with this is all the things that can go wrong that are not covered. I doubt you are going to get a fuel pump, water pump replaced under warranty, but maybe so. My brother was freaking out about the rumors last month so called his dealer in Yuma and they said WW was not warrantying the extended warranties ppl bought, but the factory warranty was good. He made an appointment. When he showed up to pick it up nothing was done, because the same dealer told him WW would not send any parts because they are going into bankruptcy. This is just what I was told. Take it for what it is worth. What if your sofa pulls out of the wall and damages the flooring when it falls. I doubt the dealers are going to eat all the problems that could arise.

Here is some food for thought. If these are just rumors and not true, WW is destroying their company by not making a public statement. They have already lost so many sales from petential buyers not wanting to take a risk to seriously interupt their cash flow. I think they are keeping quite because it is true.

I heard last night that security went in there and kicked them out.

Most major stuff is covered by the other mfr's, refer, ac and such, small shit like a water pump is cheap, but a fridge or ac or Genset can be expensive. keep your paperwork people.

This "rumor" has been going around for a while and all of the WW people kept telling us it was bullshit. Where are they now. In this economy you cant trust anyone. If they go to Chapter 7 or 11 the poor bastard that bought the trailer is so far down on the list they will never see a dime. Let the buyer beware.
Confirmed it yesterday with a very good friend of mine that owns a recreation loan business. He does loans for Trailes, Moho,Boats , and now airplanes. When I told him that I heard WW is closing, he told me that WW is old news. He new they were shutting the doors for some time now. He also said that GIANT RV is going out of business too. He said by the end of summer there will be no GIANT RV.
Maybe we should all go visit Mark the owner  I'm glad I bought mine used and cheap but I feel for the guys who just paid big dough for something that has no structural warranty and just lost more than half it's value. What about the recall stuff that still needs to be done to most of them? Looks like he f^&%ed every buyer he had!
I purchased mine used as well so am not too worried. I was hoping to get reimbursed for the tires I installed on mine and the damage the blowout had. Mine was a couple years old when I bought it, but was like new. I had a blowout the first 50 miles and I even checked all the tires and set the air pressure properly right before I left. Installed the spare and nursed it to Yuma and purchased 5 new E rated tires

With your WW tires, start your trips 10-15 psi lower than it states for cold...then let the heat build the tire up..youll have way less blow outs....

LOL! Man do i got some good pictures of you Blake!!!

LOL

Seriously this does blow....I now need to go through all my paperwork and start figuring out what of my 7 year bumper to bumper will still be covered if any at all?

I think this whole thing was planned to get out of the lawsuit they were going to have to pay up on. My tab alone was over a grand for the tire replacement and the damage the blowout caused. WW sales may have dropped, but no worse than anyone elses.
luckily my trailer wasnt included int he recall..........what was the deal with the tires.do you know what model and specs they are so I can look at mine?
