You could regester it as a special construction. How do you like that cannondale??? I just sold 2 of thosehmmm good ? i really don't know on that you could use the vin# off your old frame i know that is what one guy that is lookin at it was going to do
If it is on a closed course it does not need reg.You could regester it as a special construction. How do you like that cannondale??? I just sold 2 of those

Other wise you have to go to CHP and get one of those silver/blue ID tags on it in order to get your sticker. YOu will need receipts for everything at DMV. and access to the motor VIN for CHP to verify.
Pretty easy once you know the procedure. they do it for sand cars all of the time Jim.

Yea Rog I know the routine......I was just asking because a friend of mine is looking at building one....But obvisouly he want the title to say yamaha rhino...not special construction for resale. It wouldnt be on a close course....we are tryin to have Don another rig by thanksgiving. He had X wife issues with the other rhino. If it is on a closed course it does not need reg.

I hear ya Jim, that one forsale should have the Yamaha VIN under the rear drvr side suspension points on it. IF not then I would never buy it as you cannot verify the numbers if for some reason it had been stolen at one point and converted to a race chassis.Yea Rog I know the routine......I was just asking because a friend of mine is looking at building one....But obvisouly he want the title to say yamaha rhino...not special construction for resale.
